Indian Army SSC Tech Recruitment 2022: Selection Criteria and Benefits:
Candidates selected for the Indian Army SSC Tech Recruitment 2022 will be offered a Short Service Commission (SSC) on probation with the rank of Lieutenant. The commission will commence either from the date of course graduation or the date of reporting at Officers Training Academy (OTA) in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, whichever is later.
Upon joining, selected candidates will receive full pay and allowances applicable to the rank of Lieutenant throughout the training period. After successfully completing the training, they will be eligible for regular pay and allowances.
This opportunity provides aspiring candidates with the chance to join the Indian Army as commissioned officers and serve the nation.
Selected applicants will undergo training at Officers Training Academy, Chennai, based on their position in the final order of merit. Training Duration for Indian Army SSC Tech Recruitment 2022: 49 Weeks
Cost of Training: The complete cost of training at OTA is covered by the government. However, if a Lady/Gentleman Cadet is withdrawn from the training academy for reasons other than medical grounds or beyond their control, they will be liable to refund the training cost at the applicable rate, which is currently ₹16,260.42/- (as of 2021) per week, as notified from time to time.
