Educational Qualification
- Direct Entry Petty Officer : 10 +2 qualified in any stream or equivalent examination.
- Elderly Secondary Recruit (SSR) 10 2 good in any sluice or equivalent examination.
- Matric Rookies (MR) 10th/ equivalent qualified.

- Direct Entry Petty Officer 17 to 21 times as on date of inception of course.

Indian Navy Sailor Recruitment 2021 Selection Criteria
The operation format has been handed at www.joinindiannavy.gov.in. The selection procedure is as follows-
- Operation will be entered only through ORDINARY POST. Operation entered through speed post/ registered post or couriers will be rejected.
- Short- table criteria will be grounded on advanced sports achievements.
- Call up letters to eligible short-listed campaigners will be posted, indicating date, time and place for selection trial.
- All original instruments and mark wastes are to be produced at the time of selection trial.
- Campaigners declared medically Temporary Unfit in the reclamation medical examination can mileage specialist review from the specified Military Hospital within a maximum period of 21 days. No further review/ appeal is admissible.
- Campaigners declared Medically Endless Unfit in the reclamation medicals can appeal for Specialist opinion in a Military Hospital within 21 days on payment ofRs. 40/-by Military Receivable Order (MRO) on Government Treasury.

Campaigners without the vindicated police verification reports won't be eligible for registration.
