The 5G everything you need to know

What is 5G?
5G is the next generation of mobile Internet connectivity, providing faster and more reliable connections to smartphones and other devices than ever before.

Combining the latest networking technologies and the latest research, 5G should provide a much faster connection than the current connection, with an average download speed of around 1 Gbps and is expected to be standard.

The network will help dramatically increase the power of the Internet of Things, providing the infrastructure to transfer large amounts of data, allowing for a smarter, more connected world.

5G networks are already emerging and expected to be launched worldwide by 2020, and work together with current 3G and 4G technology to provide faster connections that stay connected to the Internet no matter where you are Be too.

When will 5G launch?
In the united states

Verizon surprised most of the world by launching the 5G network in early April 2019, making it the first company to introduce the next generation network in the world.

It is currently only available in limited parts of Chicago and some other locations, and currently has only 5 devices available for use on the new 5G network.

In Chicago, we were able to achieve speeds of up to 1.4 Gbps, which is much faster than the theoretical maximum speed of 300 Mbps (although the average speed is less than 100 Mbps).

However, 5G coverage is incomplete and we had to move around the various 5G antennas in the city to achieve this maximum speed. We get about 1Gbps very statistically.

5G is more than a hybrid bag in London, our test speeds range from 200 Mbps to 550 Mbps – still much faster than 4G, but not at the same level in Chicago.

AT&T has deployed its 5G network in 19 cities in the United States, but still does not offer any 5G phones – the only option currently available for 5G Netgear Nitehawk mobile hotspots.

Meanwhile, T-Mobile has not yet launched its 5G network in the United States, but has previously said it will include 30 cities over 5G, beginning with New York City, Los Angeles, Dallas and Las Vegas .

in Britain

EE was the first British airline to launch its 5G network, operating in six cities on 30 May 2019. It has promised to bring 5G to 10 more cities by the end of 2019.

Subsequently, on 3 July 2019, Vodafone launched 5G in 7 cities and on 17 July it was deployed in eight other towns and cities.

Next Up Three, which launched 5G in London on 19 August, however, has one major feature – it is initially only available for home broadband. However, it will be put on mobile later this year, in addition to 24 other towns and cities.

Meanwhile, O2 is the only major network in the UK that does not yet have 5G services of any kind, but plans to launch 5G in October.

Telstra’s 5G coverage began until May 2019, with Australia’s first 5G smartphone – the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G.

At the time, coverage was limited to 10 major cities and regions, and limited and somewhat incomplete within those areas. These include Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Gold Coast, Hobart, Launceston, Melbourne, Perth, Sydney and Toowoomba.

However, deployment continues, and coverage is steadily increasing. For detailed and up-to-date maps of coverage across Australia, see Telstra’s 5G page.

On the other hand, Optus has not released any specific timetable or roadmap, although its official website stated that it aims to build 1,200 sites on the 5G network by March 2020, indicating a date for public availability.

The number of 5G ads was released in 2019, but some are currently available, and the option is limited by country and carrier.

In the US, the next generation Motorola 5G Moto Mods provide connectivity to some Moto Z devices as well as the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G.
