The delete a page in Word

Most of us – whether students, office workers, artists or scientists – use Microsoft Office, more specifically, Microsoft Word in our daily lives. It is a software package designed for practically everyone with productivity and good reason. Its application list is a highly reliable and extremely powerful productivity tool that serves multiple purposes.

However, a large proportion of its users do not know how powerful they are. For example, take Microsoft Word. Although word processing likes to walk the beach compared to the arduous task with its buttons, automated tasks and shortcuts, many users hardly know – let alone use – most of them. And so they take a lot of steps and take a lot of time to do more complex tasks.

When you delete a page in Word, for example, some users end up giving the mouse button or backspace a little exercise, because they don’t feel that there is a smooth way to do it.

If you are one of those people, then you have come to the right place. Today, we are going to show you many more effective ways to delete a page in Word, whether you are a Windows 10 or Mac user, because clearly, a backspace key requires time.

There are many easy ways to delete entire pages in Word. Keep in mind that there is no button you can magically remove the page by clicking on it. To the extent that it is useful, we are certain that Microsoft has reasons for not providing it. However, other than pressing the backspace key, there are better methods, not to mention more professionalism.

Method 1: Go to a job

The Go to Microsoft Word function jumps instead of scrolling the cursor to a page, section, line, or footnote, which you mainly choose to save time. Think of it as a teleport – instead of walking to a soda store, you can simply disappear from your current location and show up at your destination.

When you want to delete a page in Word, Go not only moves the cursor to the page you want to delete, but also lets you highlight the content of the page, mainly to remove it from the floor Does.

Step 1: On the Home tab, click the Search button drop-down and choose Go To. Or just press Ctrl + G.

Step 2: Type the page number in the Page Number text box and click Go To.

There, you can go to the page you want to delete by typing its page number. If you do not know the specific page number, you can type + or – to move from the page you are currently using to the page you want to delete. For example, if you are on page 1 and the page you want to delete is four pages down, you just type +4. After this click on Go To button. By doing this you will be taken to the page you have selected.

Step 3: Type “Page” and click “Go To” to highlight the entire page. Click Close once shaded.

Enter the page number by typing the text “Page” in the text box and clicking Go to basically highlight the entire page you want to delete.

When the entire page is highlighted, you can never press the backspace or delete button. This effectively removes the entire page.

Method 2: Navigation pane (for blank pages)

Using the thumbnail pane tab, the pane tab lets you preview and swipe document pages by giving them access to their thumbnails. This feature allows you to copy your document, quickly locate the page you want to navigate to the actual page, and double click it.

This method is particularly useful when you inadvertently create a group of empty documents, either by pressing the space bar or adding a page break. The navigation pane lets you easily identify blank pages and therefore needs to be removed.

Step 1: Go to the View tab and tap the Navigation Pane box or simply press Ctrl + H and click on the Page tab in the Navigation Pane.

Opening the navigation pane is usually attached on the right side of the application window, and clicking on the Pages tab displays thumbnails of the document pages in order.

Step 2: Scroll through the pages, then search and double click on the blank page you want to delete.

Step 3: Press Ctrl + Shift + 8 to show paragraph marks. If a blank page appears due to an extra paragraph (or five), simply press “Delete” until the entire page is removed, which won’t take much time. If the blank page is a page break, select Page Break and press Backspace.

How to delete page in word on mac
Deleting pages in Word on a Mac is similar to the work you do on a PC. However, there are some striking differences, mainly due to the specific shortcut key combination of MacOS, as well as a slightly different user interface in the application.
